Stephanie Schmid, Democratic Nominee for Congress in New Jersey’s 4th District, held a victory rally and general election kickoff event Thursday evening in Eatontown. Supporters gathered in their masks and with homemade signs in support of their new Democratic Nominee.
Stephanie was introduced by Joan Gotti, President of the Little Silver Democratic Club and candidate for Borough Council. “Today is the kickoff for the next Congressional representative for CD-4, a woman who is guided by the words of John Lewis—who will get in trouble, good trouble, necessary trouble, to restore our humanity locally and nation-wide and who will fight for our liberty.”
“Thank you to the volunteers who made countless calls, wrote postcards, hosted meet and greets, donated, and who showed up for my launch all the way back on September 7th,” Stephanie said to the crowd. “It has been a long fight to win this primary, but we are celebrating a decisive victory today and it wouldn’t be without all of you.”
