The Bradley Beach Democratic County Committee is proud to endorse Stephanie Schmid to be the 2020 Democratic nominee for Congress in New Jersey’s 4th District.
“Bradley Beach Democratic County Committee members are ready for a new voice in the 4th District,” said Bradley Beach Municipal Chairman Steve Lozowick. “Stephanie is already building a grassroots coalition and we are thrilled to be early members of that group. Her passion and policy expertise were clear to us immediately, and we are thrilled by the prospect of a Congresswoman who is committed to regular engagement with her constituents and working tirelessly on behalf of Bradley Beach and the rest of our community in Washington, DC.”
Stephanie’s background as a human rights attorney and former U.S. Foreign Service Officer, along with her impressive fundraising numbers, clearly establishes her as the strongest candidate to defeat Congressman Chris Smith. She has the experience and knowledge to make thoughtful, impactful change for New Jersey. She will stand up and fight for the values of our community.
Stephanie accepted the endorsement with gratitude. “The Bradley Beach County Committee is a dedicated and active group that has consistently worked on behalf of Democratic nominees, increasing advocacy and voter turnout within their town and throughout Monmouth County. I am thrilled to have their support.”
Stephanie is a New Jersey native with a strong record of serving her community, protecting those most vulnerable, and solving difficult public policy problems. She resides in Little Silver and is an active member of her community. Stephanie is running to bring new leadership to Congress at a time when we need our leaders to solve pressing challenges and create opportunities for the people of New Jersey.
